Fallout New Vegas Awop

I have had a lot of requests for the new low loot file in a very short space of time so I thought I would see what loot is the most bothersome or is causing the most harm to peoples games. I was not gonna make one until the main version is complete but due to volume of.

I, too, have played through NV many times and am currently on my second playthrough with AWOP. I usually don't make it a point to seek out every new location but rather explore them as I stumble across them. I've found it pleasantly challenging-the hostiles more numerous and harder to neutralize. The only way I survive is to hit and run, hit and run.

And it's good to have some extra cat-eye vision tabs. I'm not crazy about all the extra npc's wandering around Good Spraings, Novac, and just outside Freeside. And I can't seem to acces many of the glowing-screen computer terminals in the added locations. I'm not sure if that's the way it's supposed to be or a glitch in my particular install.

I play with AWOP as an almost vanilla game. I do have WMX and some minor mods. Of the mods I do play with the most game changing do two things. 1) increase enemy damage to the player by 300% and 2) reduce experiance required to level by 200-300%; 300 exp reductions is a total pita:D.This drastically changes the game into a death machine. But with that said for me.(of course)Pros:-Vastly increased worldspace-Much harder enemies either sequestered with themselves or peppered within the vanilla game.

This forces irregular difficulty spikes.-Extended gameplay time through the extra AWOP content.-More item flood and collectables-More fights within the game of various NPC factons.-Harder guards and varied armor tiers (stat giving merc armor as an example)combat.-Irregular combat with various AWOP guards, they will become hostile the longer you are in their vicinity.-Subfactons within the base game.-Clutter, the mod is stacked to the walls with so much item flood some in the open, some hidden. Its almost a new level on the collecting meta game.Various world sections force you to adjust your play style on the run simply to survive the encounters (tech raiders mainly)Cons:-The M weapon tier. This tier is so OP within the base AWOP mod that I do not use them. Their inbuilt mods and vastly improved accuracy detract from challenge and heavily weigh the difficulty curve in the players favor (you can snipe with the M Lever Action Shotgun). I really don't mind the armor, I play at a point where damage is out of control, but the weapons are imho waay too much.

(WMX does have a patch for their accuracy though)- Various portions of the mod have jarring breaks in consistancy Powder Gangers armed with 75/100 skill weapons at level 5 (conversely they do hit like trucks), Guards with Combat armor MKII and slave collars.-Clutter same as above but with the addition of the various skill books and items. It is very easy to become so stupidly rich that after you reach 'Jury Rigging' you are a swirling mess of caps and ammo. This is an issue thoughout the game though and no one is forcing you to loot so much.-I do not like total darkness as a gameplay mechainic here.

Various portions of the mod use total darkness.-Reinman Cave could be considered unfinished and a loose thread/plot hole/weridness. But for me w/e.that all being said please remember that the difficulty I find within New Vegas is not going to be how you find it.AWOP is a solid mod that adds flavor to the vanilla game and could easily be considered of such strength that it is a addon to the base game and not just a 'mod'.

Contents OverviewsKarma doesn't have as much of an effect on gameplay as in, and, since has a more important place. However, it does still exist and if someone catches you performing an action that causes negative Karma against their faction you will often lose reputation with that faction; for example, stealing something from the where a can see you. They may also become openly hostile despite your reputation with them not being lowered enough for you to be considered hated where they will attack you.Karma's basic mechanics work similarly to the way they do in Fallout 3 (a 2001-point linear scale with -1000 being the most evil, 0 neutral, and +1000 the most good). Unlike reputation, where one can only gain fame or infamy, Karma can be both gained and lost.Karma also no longer determines which companions you can recruit. However, when opening a conversation with after she has joined you and when you have substantially negative Karma (-100) she will complain about your behavior. You will get a second warning when your Karma is even lower (-150). After that, she won't complain anymore, as long as the player stays neutral.

When you continue on your path to 'the dark side' and talk to her again while having evil Karma (-250) she will leave for good. Note that Cass does not grant the player any grace period to improve their Karma, so a player who doesn't know better can alienate her in the space of minutes by making three attempts in a row to converse with her.

Karma levelsKarma levels in andYou begin the game with a value of zero, which increases or decreases based on the players actions. There are 5 levels of Karma:. Very good: +750 to +1000. Good: +250 to +749.

Neutral: -249 to +249. Evil: -749 to -250. Very evil: -1000 to -750.Karma titlesYour Karma status is defined by a 'Karma title', depending on your Karma points and your level.
